Pyrite Clusters, Raw (Cocoda) – Med, 200g

This is an assorted lot of Pyrite clusters, sourced from Peru

Size: Approx 3.5 – 5 cm (these lots are approx 5 pieces)

Commonly known as Fool’s Gold, Pyrite is distinctive for its bright, silvery metallic appearance – sometimes with a golden brassy hue. This common moniker does somewhat do pyrite a disservice though – it’s a powerful and attractive stone in its own right, with an array of crystal shapes and collabs with other crystals making it even more interesting. Some like to collect specimens in different shapes and from different localities, and some like to appreciate the nuance of energy between these varying pieces. Whatever your reasons, Pyrite is a crystal that continues to fascinate.

It’s bolshy, it’s got your back, it’s a stone of intention. While it’s usually known and used for attracting wealth, abundance and success (particularly for fledgling businesses), Pyrite helps us to look objectively at ourselves, identifying any behaviours, habits, or issues that may be holding us back. This awareness allows us to move forward with greater intention.

Pyrite is found the world over – even in many places here in Aotearoa! Perhaps the most famous pyrite are the stunning cubes from Navajún, Spain, but we also carry more affordable options from Peru, China, and Indonesia.

Peruvian Pyrite is sourced from a range of mines, mainly in the Bolognesi Province. Our Coco or Cocoda pyrite is a selected grade with small to medium druzy crystals.
